The study of utilization of raw materials based on glass recyclate

Presented work deals with the problem of solar glass waste recycling. In theoretical part recent EU regulation regarding waste management is presented. Different ways of PV panels recycling are explained as well as raw materials for glass production are listed. Differences between regular and solar glass is explained. In experimental part different recipes using solar glass waste and polymer binders are presented. Grindability was tested on specimen tiles. Potential of solar glass waste for manufacturing products with acoustic properties was examined.

Image Compression Using the Wavelet Transform

The thesis discusses the image compression using the wavelet transform. The compression itself is done by EZW, SPIHT or EBCOT Tier1 algorithms. These algorithms are then compared to JPEG and JPEG2000 standards. Furthermore tiles, various wavelets and RGB and Y'CbCr color spaces were used to determine the influence on an image compression quality.

This diploma thesis deals with methods of used tire management, proposal of utilization of ground tire rubber, market analysis and RAPUR Company analysis and deals with proposal of the production of the rubber floor article. The thesis also deals with technical and technological solution of the product production and analysis of the organization’s environment, external and internal factors and SWOT analysis. Outcome information is then used for the recommendation of the business plan.

Visualizations history of changes in cadastral map

The goal of this master thesis is to suggest a methodology for a visualization history of changes in cadastral maps. The suggested methodology takes into account a selection of original historical and contemporary data, processing workflow and follow-up visualization using existing open source web technologies. The greatest contribution of this thesis is in the design of the spatio-temporal database, because currently there does not exist workable editor similar to it, which could be used for creating such data. The suggested procedure is based on database updating method of ISKN database utilizing amendment records. However this method is significantly simplified with the use of PostgreSQL/PostGIS geospatial functions. The available literature and other informational sources to the topic are overviewed in the first part of the master thesis. The term "spatio-temporal data" is thoroughly defined and also the ways of integrating temporal features into spatial data, methods of visualization of spatio-temporal data and recent state of their implementations into desktop platforms and web applications are noted. The decorative facing of the staircase (glazed ceramic tiles)

This diploma thesis is divided into two main parts {--} theoretical and practical. The practical part was focus on the proposing and creation of the tiles of the size 15 x 15 cm. 120 pieces were created for risers and 15 lateral tiles for the contiguous wall. The written theoretical part is mainly focused on the clarification of motivational sources which influence the process of this topic, the projecting of the staircase, and we can also find there the description of the technological procedures of the creation of the tiles with the account of used material.
